Our 13-day Nordic adventure began in Helsinki, Finland, where travelers were welcomed by a deaf guide and introduced to the city’s highlights including Finnish Deaf Association’s Lighthouse, Suomenlinna Fortress, the Market Square, and Kamppi Chapel. After a full day of exploring Helsinki’s cultural sites such as Senate Square and the Rock Church, the group embarked on an overnight cruise to Stockholm, Sweden. In Stockholm, we visited Gamla Stan (Old Town), the Royal Palace, and the Vasa Museum..

The journey continued by high-speed train to Copenhagen, Denmark, where travelers experienced iconic sites like Rosenborg Castle, the Little Mermaid statue, and the vibrant Nyhavn harbor. We also visited the deaf association and deaf church as well as the alternative community of Christiania, with a local deaf guide who grew up there.. Then we boarded another overnight cruise to Oslo, Norway, and upon arrival, explored Oslo’s treasures including the Norwegian Folk Museum, Vigeland Park, and the Munch Museum.

The scenic segment of the trip unfolded with a train ride from Oslo to Flåm, followed by a leisurely ferry cruise through the majestic Søgnefjord to Bergen. The final full day in Bergen included a tour of the colorful Bryggen waterfront, a ride on the Fløibanen Funicular, and a farewell dinner. The tour concluded on June 17 with return flights home after breakfast, leaving participants with lasting memories of the Nordic landscapes and rich cultural heritage.
