This unique tour will encompass the best of Greece and Southern Italy. We start by focusing on classical Athens and other archaeological sites in the Peloponnese Peninsula on mainland Greece before moving on to Puglia and Sicily in southern Italy for its highlights.

Our local deaf guides in Athens bring to life the stories of Greek mythology, as many of its roots are still visible in modern Greece life. In Sicily we explore the island and its many intriciaties with a native deaf Sicilian.
SEE ICONIC SIGHTS
The Parthenon, atop on a hill in Athens, is a sight to behold. Touching the ground of the stadium in Olympia makes us feel like Olympians. The cave houses of Matera are fascinating to explore one by one.

Greece is not only famous for its gyros, but also various grilled meats, Greek yogurt, honey, olive oil, and fresh octopus! Puglia has decadent focaccia. Sicily produces fresh fruit and vegetables with flavor like nowhere else.
14 DAYS / 13 NIGHTS
DAY 1 - 4
DAY 1 - Arrival into Athens. Take an afternoon orientation walk around the Plaka District. Welcome dinner. Stay in Athens for 2 nights.
DAY 2 - Visit the world-famous Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum, plus the Temple of Zeus and the Olympic Stadium.
DAY 3 -Pick up our van and drive to Delphi and visit the Sanctuary of Apollo, the famous Archaeological Museum, and walk the Sacred Way. Overnight in Delphi.
DAY 4 - Drive from Delphi to Olympia, the site of the ancient Olympic Games, and visit the Sanctuary of Olympia, the Archaeological Museum, and the Museum of the History of the Olympic Games in Antiquity. Overnight in Olympia.
DAY 5 - 8
DAY 5 - Drive to the charming port town of Nafplion and enjoy walking around the intimate center. Stay in Nafplion for 2 nights.
DAY 6 - Visit Mycenae, the ancient fortress city atop a hill that was the hub of a mighty civilization, and Epidarus, the famous Greek theatre.
DAY 7 - Return to Athens and catch our flight towards Bari, in Puglia. Settle into our hotel near Bari. Stay near Bari for 2 nights.
DAY 8 - Visit the town of Alberobello, Polignano di Mare, and surrounding towns in Puglia.
DAY 9 - 12
DAY 9 - Drive to Matera to visit the fascinating town full of caves built into the rock, and then continue on towards Sicily. Overnight in Calabria.
DAY 10 - Transfer to Catania in Sicily, stopping by to visit the resort town of Taormina and Mount Etna. Overnight in Catania.
DAY 11 - Transfer to Syracuse. Visit the Greek Theatre, the old city of Ortigia, and the catacombs. Stay in Syracuse for 2 nights.
DAY 12 - Explore the surrounding areas of southeast Sicily, including the town of Noto.
DAY 13 - 14
DAY 13 - Transfer to Palermo for a grand tour of the city all afternoon and evening. Overnight in Palermo.
DAY 14 - Transfer to Palermo airport for your flight back home.
