Depart from the United States for London, arriving the next day.
JUNE 5 • • •
Arrival in London. Meet your tour guide and we transfer to our hotel in London. Get oriented by walking through the heart of the city, including Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, and the London Eye. Have a group welcome dinner. Sleep in London for 4 nights.
JUNE 6 • • •
Visit the Tower of London and the Tower Bridge in the morning, then walk through the Southwark/Borough District by the river to see the Borough Market, Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe.
JUNE 7 • • •
Take a day trip out of London to see the most important sights of the area, including the royal family’s Windsor Castle and the mystical ruins of Stonehenge.
JUNE 8 • • •
Go to see the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. Afterwards, visit the world-famous British Museum. Late afternoon free to shop in the Covent Garden area.

Take the express train under the Channel to Paris, and transfer to our hotel. Afternoon walk in central Paris by the Seine River. Evening cruise on the Seine River. Sleep in Paris for 4 nights.

Visit the Ile de la Citè, including Notre Dame and Sainte-Chapelle. Then go to the world-famous Louvre museum, the Tuileries Gardens, and Abbe de l’Epee’s cenotaph at St. Roch church.
JUNE 11 • • •
Take a morning trip to Versailles to visit the glorious chateaux of 1700s French royalty with a deaf local guide. Upon our return to Paris we go up the Eiffel Tower.
JUNE 12 • • •
Visit the historic St. Jacques deaf school in the morning. Afternoon walk in Montmartre and go up to see the Sacre-Coeur church with awesome views of Paris.
JUNE 13 • • •
Pick up our van and drive to Normandy, stopping by Rouen to see Joan of Arc’s monument and church, plus Caen for its excellent WWII museum. Sleep in Bayeux for 2 nights.
JUNE 14 • • •
Today we focus on the D-Day sights: Starting with the museum in Arromanches, followed by the Longues-sur-Mer gun battery, Normandy American Cemetery, Pointe du Hoc Ranger Monument, and Omaha beach itself.
JUNE 15 • • •
We transfer from Normandy to the Loire, stopping by to see Mont-St. Michel, one of France’s most striking sights, a soaring monastery complex on an island. Arrival in Amboise in the late afternoon. Sleep in the Loire Valley for 2 nights.
JUNE 16 • • •
We take a tour of the important chateaux of the area, most likely Chenonceau and Chambord.
JUNE 17 • • •
Return to Paris in the morning and have a driving tour around Paris. Transfer to a hotel near the airport and have a group farewell dinner.
JUNE 18 • • •
Fly back to the USA from Paris.
