About The Tour

This unique tour will focus on Campania and Sicily in Southern Italy before moving on to Greece where we tour the Peloponnese Peninsula and see the country’s most famous ancient sights.


$3,450 USD per person/double occupancy (for a group of 8 persons)

$500 USD deposit per person is required to reserve space on a first come, first serve basis.

The remaining balance must be paid in full 90 days before the first day of the tour.

Depart from your hometown for Italy.

OCTOBER 16 • • •
We meet at Catania on the island of Sicily and transfer to Syracuse. Welcome dinner. Stay 3 nights in Syracuse.

OCTOBER 17 • • •
Visit the sights of Syracuse including the Greek Theatre, the old city of Ortigia, and the catacombs.

OCTOBER 18 • • •
Explore the surrounding areas of southeast Sicily, including the town of Noto, or take a day trip to Palermo.

OCTOBER 19 • • •
Transfer to Catania, stopping by to visit the resort town of Taormina and Mount Etna. Continue on to Calabria, stopping by Vibo Valentia. Stay in Vibo Valentia for 2 nights.

OCTOBER 20 • • •
Visit the postcard pretty towns of Pizzo and Tropea in addition to the Violet Coast.

OCTOBER 21 • • •
Drive to Matera to visit the fascinating town full of caves, and then continue on to Bari. Sleep near Bari for 2 nights.

OCTOBER 22 • • •
Visit the town of Alberobello, Polignano di Mare, and surrounding towns in Puglia.

OCTOBER 23 • • •
Transfer to Athens by air and settle into our hotel. In the afternoon visit the Plaka district. Sleep in Athens for 2 nights.

OCTOBER 24 • • •
Visit the world-famous Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum, plus the Temple of Zeus and the Olympic Stadium.

OCTOBER 25 • • •
Pick up our van and drive to Delphi and visit the Sanctuary of Apollo, the famous Archaelogical Museum, and walk the Sacred Way. Sleep in Delphi for 1 night.

OCTOBER 26 • • •
Drive from Delphi to Olympia, the site of the ancient Olympic Games, and visit the Sanctuary of Olympia, the Archaelogical Museum, and the Museum of the History of the Olympic Games in Antiquity. Sleep in Olympia for 1 night.

OCTOBER 27 • • •
Drive to the charing port town of Nafplion and enjoy walking around the intimate center. Sleep in Nafplion for 2 nights.

OCTOBER 28 • • •
Visit Mycenae, the ancient fortress city atop a hill that was the hub of a mighty civilization, and Epidarus, the famous Greek theatre. Have a farewell dinner on the beach tonight.

OCTOBER 29 • • •
Transfer back to Athens, and connect to your flights back home or continue your trip. We will offer possible extensions to Turkey or to the Greek Islands depending on group interest.
