Bonjour! Northern France is a beautiful region that offers visitors a chance to experience a rich history, stunning architecture, and breathtaking landscapes. From the bustling streets of Paris to the charming villages of the Loire Valley, there is something for everyone in this part of the world. In this blog post, we want to share our highlights that covers some of the most popular destinations in Northern France.
We began our journey in the City of Lights, Paris, for 6 nights. They saw the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, the Arc de Triomphe, Notre-Dame Cathedral and Versailles. The group also takes a walking tour of the historic neighborhoods, such as the city island and Montmartre, to get a feel for the city’s vibrant culture.
After saying ‘adieu’ to Paris, we visit a charming town, Bayeux, in the Normandy region. We saw the Bayeux Tapestry, a famous 70-meter-long embroidered linen cloth that tells the story of the Norman Conquest of England. The group also explores the town’s beautiful cathedral and medieval streets. Spent another day visiting all sights related to World World II, especially D-Day Invasion.
We drove to see the Mont St. Michel, a stunning island commune located off the coast of Normandy. We explored the abbey, climbed to the top of the island, and took in the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
We visited the fortified city of St. Malo, exploring the city’s ramparts, visiting the Saint-Malo Cathedral, and strolling through the charming streets lined with cafes and shops.
Angers, a beautiful city located in the Loire Valley. The group visited the stunning Château d’Angers, took a tour of the historic old town, and enjoyed their time at a funky garden park.
Our final stop was at the Loire Valley where we spent two days exploring the picturesque villages and stunning chateaux of the Loire Valley. We saw the Château de Chenonceau, the Château de Chambord and the Château de Clos Luce.
Everyone went back to their home with unforgettable memories of Northern France that is full of rich history, stunning architecture, and breathtaking landscapes.
