This unforgettable journey through Portugal and Spain was made even more meaningful by a truly wonderful group of travelers who shared curiosity, laughter, and a deep appreciation for culture along the way. Beginning in Lisbon, we explored historic neighborhoods from the winding streets of Alfama to the grandeur of Belém, followed by a magical day in Sintra’s fairytale palaces and gardens. Crossing into Spain, we traced layers of history through Évora, Seville, Córdoba, and Granada, marveling at Moorish architecture, vibrant plazas, and timeless traditions—from the Alcázar and La Mezquita to the breathtaking Alhambra. Windmills in Consuegra led us onward to Toledo and Madrid, where world-class art and royal history filled our days. We concluded in Barcelona, inspired by Gaudí’s masterpieces, lively neighborhoods, and a heartfelt farewell dinner. An enriching adventure, shared with an exceptional group, that none of us will soon forget.
